Cornerstone Church at Bay Springs is linked with a wonderful missions ministry, Cornett Ministries in Lawrenceville, Georgia, to take the good news to those who have not heard that Jesus saves, heals, delivers and makes whole. America is so blessed but many in other countries still do not know that they can be set free from the bondage they have lived in. Cornett Ministries has gone into 80 countries with the gospel over the last 23 years. In Bulgaria alone, they have built over 30 churches, a Bible College, a Youth Camp and Conference Center. When people get saved and God calls them into ministry, they receive their training at the Bible College and then go out and establish churches and win others. Our own member, Carol Couch, has been to Bulgaria with the Cornett's on many occasions and has shared with us of the mighty miracles that have taken place in the lives of the Bulgarian people.
Carol also represents our church by participating in a jail ministry in Douglas County on a regular basis. The Lord has used her to minister to many that need to hear the Truth that real freedom comes through knowing Christ Jesus.
Bertice Sewell, our church pianist, is also a vital part of the jail ministry and has been faithful for many years in the area of outreach and has been used mightily by the Lord.
Cornerstone Church considers it a privilege to be a part of a work for God that reaches people where they are hurting. The world needs to hear the unchanging message of the love of God that extends mercy to the sinner and lifts them out to live a new life in Christ.
Cornerstone Church hopes to widen our Missions program as the Lord gives increase.
