The Lord has blessed our church with a wonderful leader and teacher for Children’s Church. Her name is Carol Couch. Our prayers were for the Lord to send someone who would teach the Word of the Lord in such a way that would instruct on their level but not just give them knowledge but also give the children a “taste” for the Lord and His Word. We didn’t want a class for children to just be babysat and no spiritual development occur but an environment for them to grow in the Grace and Knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are confident that Carol is chosen of the Lord for this ministry. She brings a wealth of experience in ministry and a love for the Lord and for children. Any parent could consider their child blessed to be her class and under her influence. Please read below from Carol’s heart how she feels about Rock Solid Children’s Church.

Our purpose in Rock Solid Children’s Church is to present the Bible in a way that is adventurous – stimulating – but very realistic. To us, this is not to present the Word of God as a story, such as a fairy tale, but to communicate each event as the Truth that it is. This is accomplished using different tools of ministry, such as songs, pop quizzes, puzzles, word finds, skits – or sometimes, just talking. But each Sunday we make sure your child knows the Truth of the lesson for that day. Yes, we have fun, but fun is not my focus. My focus is to instill the Word of God into your child as if I am the only opportunity they will have to know Jesus.
